Renella has a long heritage in Falkirk. It was opened on 20^th May 1969 by founder Anne Miller; an already well established hairdresser

Alongside Greens, another well know Falkirk salon, Anne wanted to develop her own business and training scheme; which she knew was so important to make great hairdressers.

A year after Renella opened, Anne’s husband Tom, joined the business. He helped run the business side of the salon to allow Anne to develop the hair side.

For many years, Anne and Tom worked alongside other two other partners in the salon; Anne and Jim Yates. The four grew the salon from its humble beginnings in Mary Street, to having five salons across the Falkirk area.

When the 80s came the partnership separated with Ann and Jim heading to new pasture in America, while Tom and Anne went on to set up a larger salon with a larger team in the Falkirk area.

Over the years, Renella has developed so many well known hairdressing connections; not only in Falkirk but in other areas in Scotland.

We are proud of our heritage and we hope to continue to create lasting memories and to build on our accomplishments. One of our longstanding traditions that we hope to continue is to be actively involved in the training of hairdressers.

The salon is now headed up by Ross Miller (Tom and Anne’s son). He has been in the salon for 30 years himself now and shares our ethos.

He was joined by his business partners, Laura Hill (been with us for 20 years) and Moira Holland- Forrester (first, a long standing client and then became our front of house manager).

The salon is developing all the time and new pastures lie ahead for us and the future is looking bright for this long established salon.
